I am currently employed full-time as a mechanical engineer at Axis Mechanical Design, where I lead the designs and design verifications of pressure equipment, mining machinery, dynamic and static structures, and storage tanks in compliance with various national and international design codes. In addition to this, I worked on an ad-hoc basis with the University of Pretoria, where I developed a compact focus control system and novel linear displacement sensor for vacuum-membrane solar dish facets used in a 46-facet single-point concentrated solar power mobile system to improve the overall efficiency of the system.

Recently, I earned my Master of Engineering degree with distinction, balancing the rigorous demands of my professional roles. This achievement reflects my passion for mechanical engineering and my daily commitment to solving complex problems.

I am driven by a strong desire to continuously learn and expand my skill set. My problem-solving abilities are a key strength and I always aim to present well-thought-out solutions that foster productive discussions. I am self-motivated, take initiative, and pride myself on being extremely hardworking. As a logical thinker, I plan meticulously to meet all deadlines and ensure that my work is of the highest quality.
